Watery Tomb
From Spyropedia
The Watery Tomb is a subterranean cave only acessible through Coastal Remains. It only appeared in Spyro: A Hero's Tail.
Overview
The Watery Tomb is a small cave, featuring an arena where Ineptune resides. The actual arena has a smiliar architechture to the Sunken Ruins, they both also contain acidic water which will kill Spyro if he touches it, regardless of his current health.
The Battle
Spyro arrives to be greeted by the evil queen of the seas herself, Ineptune. After having a quick banter with Spyro, she catches him off guard with her breath attack which he skillfully dodges. Ineptune then becomes idle, long enough for Spyro to notice that her Belt is her source of power and her only weakness.
Ineptune promptly starts to attack again, alternating between her breath attack and her bubble attack. Spyro manages to avoid getting hit by this by staying as far away from her breath as possible. Once she had used her breath attack, Spyro charges forward to send her flying into an arch behind her. Ineptune then dives underwater and activates two laser mechanisms. Spyro survives these by jumping over the laser beams. Ineptune then returns to the surface and repeats the whole process again.
Eventually, after getting hit by Spyro a number of times, Ineptune makes a snooty remark about Spyro's size and then dies, releasing Aqua from her belt. Aqua thanks Spyro for releasing her and grants him with the power of Water breath as well as telling him the properties of the breath. She then leaves Spyro to escape the Watery Tomb with his new found power.
