Toasty is the first boss level of the game, and the only boss in Artisans. The boss, Toasty will be confronted in the end. There are three distinct areas that each serve as boss arenas connected by short pathways. When Spyro first enters, Toasty will be waiting, twirling his scythe in anticipation of an attack. Many guard dogs and shepherds are scattered around this realm.

The Boss
Toasty only requires three hits to defeat him. Once he has taken two hits, his true form will be revealed: he's actually a sheep fodder who has attempted to get revenge on Spyro for using his brethren as targets. However, when he's defeated, he'll release three blue gems rather than a butterfly.

"The dogs in this level will be somewhat annoying and they need to be killed with a slight strategy. Flame them, get out of the way, then flame them again. Before you go to get the dragon, go through the window to a hidden area. Watch out because a dog will try to pounce on you around the second corner. Always watch out for dogs. In the way of defeating Toasty, there isn’t a set strategy. All you need to do is kill the dogs and the scarecrow guy. After defeating Toasty, exit the level." - GamingWorld GameFaq
