Summer Forest is the first Homeworld that is accessible in Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage. As its name suggests, it is based on the season of summer. Its centerpiece is a large castle surrounded by a moat. The level is a sunny, bright Homeworld with lush grass and clear water. Trees in full bloom lean over the level, and a waterfall flows through the castle itself. It is somewhat of a training level, where new players and veterans alike can adjust to Spyro's abilities (which changed slightly from the first game), challenged by Hunter. As with the other two Homeworlds of Ripto's Rage, Moneybags will teach Spyro a new ability: swimming... for a small fee.
