Fairies are frequently seen in the original Spyro the Dragon series. They often helped out Spyro by saving his progress (Most famous for this is Zoe) and other various actions.

In Spyro the Dragon, Fairies made their first appearance, helping Spyro by -
- Saving his progress- Save Fairy
- Saving him from steep falls (Such as in Magic Crafters) -Rescue Fairies
- Giving him Superflame powerups (As seen in Haunted Towers -Superflame Fairies
- Activating Whirlwinds- Whirlwind Fairies
Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage!
In Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage only Zoe is present. She saves Spyro's progress.

In Spyro: Year of the Dragon, the fairies help Spyro search for the eggs and -
Charmed Ridge
Charmed Ridge is the homeworld for the fairies in the Forgotten Worlds. These fairies have Spanish accents, and are lead by Princess Ami. They are at war with the Cat Wizards of Felinia.
Spyro: Season of Ice
In Spyro: Season of Ice the focus is all on the Fairies and the Fairy Realms. Here, Grendor has frozen all the fairies, and Spyro must unfreeze them.
