Being Action-Platformers, you would expect the spyro franchise to have tonnes of Attacks and abilites, well here they all are.

Charge

In almost Every Spyro game, Spyro can charge, When spyro charges, not only does he run faster but he can ram enemies with the horns he sticks out. The Charge ability does not work on Big enemies.

Wing Shield

Spyro folds his wing infront of him as defence from blunt projectiles. Sharp projectiles will harm him. This ability is available in Enter the dragonfly and a heroes tail.

Double Jump

Double Jump became avaliable in Spyro: A Hero's Tail so that spyro can destroy the Dark Gems and reach high ledges.

Pole Spin

This was used so spyro could spin on spin poles.

Wall Kick

What do you do when double jump fails?

Use wall kick!

Elder Astor taught Spyro how to use Wall kick so he could get to very high ledges.

Melee

In The Legend of Spyro series Spyro can damage enemies with air and ground melee attacks.

Comet Dash

Spyro charges through enemies at the speed of the comet, leaving everything in his way scorched.

Electric Whirlwind

Spyro will balance on his tail and start spinning around with the power of electricity. Any enemy in his way will be tossed up into the air.

Earth Pound

Spyro Hits the ground with the force of nature are will release a shockwave of earth power tossing enemies in the air.

Fury

Spyro raises himself up into the air and with one flap of his wings he unleashes an Elemental blast called a fury. This can only be done when you get a certain amount of [[Purple gems]. Each element as its own fury. First seen in [[The legend of Spyro: A New Beginning]]

Super Charge

When Spyro dashes onto a speedway platform, a super charge gadget, or a super charge arc, he is allowed to briefly enter the Super Charge form. This form allows Spyro to dash with high speeds and power which could allow him to break strong chests or doors. If Spyro stops dashing, or if he runs into a wall, he will exit the super charge form.

Breaths

Fire

Spyro's most famous and common attack throughout the game series. A wave of intense heat blinds and burns enemies.

Electricity

Enemies are parlyzed and their muscles are weakened by high voltage arcs, though sever damage isn't dealt.

Ice

Along with earth it is a breath of force. Switching between cold waves and shards with the capability of causing blunt force trauma and deals heave damage as very low temperatures crystalize muscle tissue, splitting and tearing the tissue and nerves causing paralysis and bodily breakdown, a slow and painful way to go.

Earth

Earth is a shotgun blast of disorientating high pressure fields. Earth and Ice rival in brute power, but Earth uses more crushing force, where as ice breaks enemies.

Water

Water can only stun enemies and stop them in their tracks but never kill. It is also use to move water wheels.

Bubble

Bubble breath was only used in Spyro: Enter the Dragonfly to trap lost dragonflies and send them home.

Wind

Wind breath was only used in Spyro: Attack of the Rhynocs to move platforms and attack enemies.

Darkness

During the final battle against Cynder in The Legend of Spyro: A New Beginning thanks to Cynder's fury Spyro was able to gain darkness breath. The breath is then reawakened in Spyro's battle with Gaul in The Legend of Spyro: Eternal Night. This breath's improper name is "The Convexity Breath"
