Molten Crater is the third world in the Sunrise Spring homeworld. In order to access this world, Spyro must collect 10 Dragon Eggs in order to activate the portal.
The crater is populated by friendly Tikis and overrun of expeditioning Rhynocs. In the heart of Molten Crater is the Tiki Lodge, which is surrounded by a moat of molten lava. Sgt. Byrd is able to assist the Tikis whose heads have been stolen, and Moneybags guards the door to a Supercharge Track where two mischievous Egg Thieves await.

Eggs
Get to the tiki lodge (Curlie)
The main challenge of the realm: go down a path in front of you and take out the rhynocs and boars along the way. Like all worlds in Sunrise Spring, Zoe will talk to you; this time, she will explain about the fodder. Once you have reached Rocky, you will obtain an egg.
Egg by lava river (Rikki)
There will be a bunch of rhynocs and boars near the entrance to the cave with Zoe. On the bottom of a small ledge, there should be an egg.
Replace idol heads (Ryan)
You need Sgt. Byrd for this, so you won't be able to do this until you have defeated Buzz and have completed Sgt. Byrd's Base.
The tikis are playing hide-and-seek; in Molten Crater, the game instead involves the tikis beheading themselves and hiding them around the Tiki Lodge. Your main object is to find all five tiki heads around the lodge, and put them back onto their bodies. Should a head fall into the lava, they will respawn at the place where you have found it. Insure you don't get hit by the birds or the flame spitters. Putting all the heads back on the bodies will reward you with an egg.
Sgt. Byrd blows up a wall (Luna)
There is a clack in the wall in the Tiki Lodge. Blowing up the wall will reveal a dragon egg.
Catch the thief (Moria)
There is a yellow thief with an egg in a challenge portal unlocked when you pay Moneybags some gems. Catch the thief, and take back the egg.
Supercharge after the thief (Kermitt)
The next thief, wearing a red robe, is faster than the other thief, so Stoney the Tiki will activate the supercharge to let Spyro run pritty fast. Catch this thief, and and save the egg.
Skill Point
- Dropping all of the Tiki heads on the central platform instead of returning them to their bodies will earn Sgt. Byrd a Skill Point, as well as cause the Tikis to dance.
Trivia
- If Sgt. Byrd has not been rescued when Spyro enters Molten Crater, his Challenge Portal will be closed off and there will be a nasty note from the Sorceress:
- Notice: Sgt. Byrd is currently on an important mission... to the inside of a cage! Tough luck.
