Metro Speedway is the first Speedway of Autumn Plains, found atop a whirlwind after Spyro has collected nine of Avalar's 64 orbs. The main path of the Speedway leads Spyro through the city's canals, where pigeons are roosting on light switches, out to a harbor where bungee jumpers are hanging off of several ledges, across the city's bridges and through the arches, and finally to a harbor where various creatures hold up "Slow" signs in an attempt to interfere with Spyro's progress.
Hunter mission
If Spyro manages to find the Mayor of Metro Speedway, he will be given a mission. Spyro must help Hunter to recover stolen cargo from cat burglars, flying after to catch the dropped items after Hunter has shot at the cats while flying on his jetpack. After this has been completed, Spyro will win Metro Speedway's lone orb.
Trivia
- The Mayor's dialogue (both recorded and in-text) refers to Hunter as "The Hunter", a leftover from Spyro 2's early stages, in which the three friendly Avalarians were known only as The Professor, The Hunter, and The Girl.
