There is a fairly large amount of Spyro merchandise out there, but a lot of it is actually quite hard to find. Many promotional items have been given out in the past, and these remain very sought after by collectors.

Figures

  • Nestle released some Spyro figures which came free with certain cereals. One is a 'clipping' figure of Spyro looking up innocently, and the other is a 'rolling' Spyro figure, where Spyro is positioned to look as though he's running.
  • Toys R Us released a special edition of the Spyro Bobblehead, with a white stand instead of the usual gold stand.
  • Taco Bell released some figures as well to promote the earlier Spyro games.

For Skylanders Figures are going to be sold at stores.

Plush

There are many different Spyro plush out there, but the most common one is made by Play-By-Play.

They range in size and materials, but the most common is Spyro standing with his two paws in a fighting stance. There is also a plush keychain of him in this pose.

There is also a Spyro plush where Spyro is standing on all fours, again with varying sizes. This is slightly more rare than his standing counterpart.

Another pair of Spyro plush involves him with a Valentines day appearance - A red heart is tattooed onto his arm, and he is presenting someone flowers. A second one involves a red hat and a red message reading 'To: My Dearest' in his paws. This is fairly rare.

One Spyro plush involves Spyro holding onto a Skateboard, based off his Skateboarding skills in Spyro: Year of the Dragon. This is also fairly rare.

There is also a Sparx plush! The smiling golden Sparx plush is also quite rare compared to the other plush available in the Spyro range.

Finally, there are also promotional Spyro plush, which literally only a few were made of each. It could be possible that the Insomniac crew own most, if not all of these.

Games

  • McDonalds once released some mini-Spyro games with the Kids Meal. They were released along with some mini-Crash Bandicoot games. It's unknown when the event happened, but it was likely it was during or after 2005. These games are very hard to find, these days.
