Haunted Tomb is realm located in Midnight Mountain in Spyro: Year of the Dragon.

In Haunted Tomb, the Egyptian Dogs ask riddles to any daredevil adventurers and treasure hunters who are attempting to survive the trials of the catacombs. Among all the treasures, ancient Mummy Earthshapers, mechanical guard jackals and the Sorceress' Mummy rhynocs makes sure any adventurer is having a hard time.

If these dangers are not enough for a brave adventurer, there is held a demolition hovercraft competition every year, and no one has yet survived the five deadly trials of King Rover.

When Agent 9 is freed from captivity and has cleaned up the mess in Agent 9's Lab, he can be found in an area near the exit portal. He is forced to complete the trials of King Rover to rid himself of a snake-tail curse after shooting Ali in the butt a couple of times.

• Swimming into the dark hole where water streams out of a wall will earn Spyro a Skill Point.

• MJ (Dragon) - Tank blast I - Solve Jamal's riddle and win the first round of the annual demolition hovercraft competition (4 hovercrafts)
• TJ (Dragon) - Tank blast II- Win the championship round of the annual demolition hovercraft competition (10 hovercrafts)
• Roxy (Dragon) - Clear the caves - Survive the five deadly trials of King Rover as Agent 9
• Christine (Dragon) - Climb the wall - Climb the ladder with a Mummy Earthshaper at the top
