Frozen Altars is a realm located in Evening Lake in Spyro: Year of the Dragon.

The entrance to the level is located directly ahead of the whirligig's landing pad, and is easily seen even from beneath the lake's surface.

Level Study

Gabrielle the Fairy grants Spyro ice breath to use throughout the level, which will freeze its targets instead of burning them. Peculiarly, however, metallic objects and the local fodder, kiwis, will still behave as though they are being burned.

Many of the inhabitants here have problems with the snowmen, thanks to the Sorceress using her powers on them. Moneybags also lies in wait in this frosty level, and Bentley can also get in on the action in a boxing match.
