Fireflies are the source of the Dragons' ability to breathe fire, and were been scattered all over the realms by Ripto in an attempt to weaken the Dragons. Spyro must collect all of them.
For a list of all the fireflies in Season of Flame, please see the list of Fireflies in Spyro 2: Season of Flame.
Trivia
- Basho and Buson are a nod to the haiku poets Matsuo Bashō and Yosa Buson. Homer may be a nod to the Greek poet Homer, although Homer did not write in haiku.
- Shiny shares his name with one of the other Fireflies in Season of Flame.
