The Ducks are recurring species in the Spyro series. They appear as both the native residents of Frozen Altars, and as fodder throughout several levels.

Alex
Alex is the first Duck that Spyro meets in Frozen Altars, although he is not the very first inhabitant met, with that honor going to Gabrielle. He is located near the first laser defense tower.

Some bear sold us a laser defense system to protect us from Rhynocs, but with these flippers, I can't even turn it on. You'd have no trouble using it, though. Just walk inside. When you're done, press the Triangle button and you'll walk back out.

Ernest
Ernest is located near the first of the two snowmen, also standing by a laser tower.

First meeting
Eustace and I were having a snowman building competition when the Sorceress brought them to life with a spell. Since then they've been stomping around, building ice walls, and generally causing trouble.
When the snowman is gone
I knew we should have bought the automated laser defense system.
Eustace
Eustace is located inside the ice cave after the first snowman, standing next to a platform with treasure on top. He is freezable with Spyro's Ice Breath, and can serve as a stepping stone to reach the nearby gems.

After thawing out
Brrr, I don't know why, but I feel reaaalllly cold.
Eugene
Errol is located at the end of the level, across the room from Moneybags. He gives Spyro the egg for Jana and then heads through the portal to Evening Lake in order to assist with the rocket.

Thanks for helping out, Spyro. Why don't you take this. The rhynocs were trying to fry it with a laser, but you stopped them just in time.
Errol
Errol is located within the Challenge Portal for the cat hockey arena. He awards Spyro the egg for Ba'ah when the rhynoc present in the arena has been bested in a game of cat hockey.

I challenged a rhynoc to a traditional game of cat hockey, but I think I sprained my flipper during training. Would you mind taking my place?
If Spyro doesn't accept
But if I can't find anyone to play for me I'll forfeit the championship.
If Spyro accepts

Don't waste time talking to me, he's gonna score.
If Spyro loses
- You should ask for a rematch. I think that guy sprayed catnip in his goal.
- That rhynoc has been gloating ever since he beat you, but I think it was a fluke. You should ask for a rematch!

Well done, I think you deserve to keep the champion's cup.
After Ba'ah's egg hatches
You gave the rhynoc such drubbing he's retired from the sport for good.
