Dragon Temple

The Dragon Temple is featured in The Legend of Spyro Trilogy and is a place where Dragon Elders train young dragons.

Spyro and the Temple

In the temple, Spyro learns how to harness his abilities over fire, ice, electricity, and earth. But before he can enter, he has to secure it and unlock the doors so Ignitus can pass through. Spyro also learns about Cynder and how to defeat her while he is at the temple.

Malefor and the Temple

Malefor himself actually used the temple. The temple is where he was trained by the Ancients. But soon after he returned he used a Dark Magic to hold it above the land, 'A symbol of his dominance' as Hunter called it. The temple became the Floating Islands. Unfortunately, as Malefor was defeated by Spyro and Cynder, the temple fell into the bubbling magma of the volcano below Malefor's Lair.
