Crawdad Farm is the first Sparx realm in Spyro: Year of the Dragon. It is unlocked by defeating Buzz, the boss of Sunrise Spring. To get to the boss of Crawdad Farm, Sparx must unlock doors by getting keys and defeating enemies, while collecting gems along the way.

Enemies

Most of the enemies here are crawdads. However, there are some crabs in the level as well. They are small enemies about the size of Sparx.

Main Boss

The main boss is a giant crawdad. It only moves up and down. It starts out by firing small balls of fire. After taking sufficient damage, it loses its claws and fires harder-to-dodge rockets at Sparx. In the final pinch of the battle, the crawdad loses its arms completely and attacks by breathing fire.
