Crash Bandicoot is an Orange Bandicoot who plays a major role in Spyro Orange: The Cortex Conspiracy and Crash Purple. Crash has his own hit series, and like Spyro, the games are platformers. Crash's Series was also, like Spyro, in the way that their games on the PS1 were hits and spawned many titles.
On most early Crash games, there was a demo for the Spyro game that was newly released at that time hidden inside the game disc. Similarly, Spyro shared Crash game demos. Spyro even made an appearance on Crash: Twinsanity while he was looking for Gems.
Crash never really speaks properly, and usually just makes random noises and faces to get his point across.
Crash is scheduled to be a newcomer and playable character in Super Smash Bros. Showdown.

Special Moves
Fruit Bazooka
Fruit Bazooka is a Special Move that is used by Crash Bandicoot in an upcoming game, Super Smash Bros. When used, Crash will fire Wumpa Fruit at the player. If the player does a down smash with this move, he will fire at the opponent's feet. Fruit Bazooka is also used by Kirby if he has copied Crash Bandicoot's power.
Death Tornado
Death Tornado is a Side Special Move that is used by Crash Bandicoot in an upcoming game, Super Smash Bros. When used, Crash will spin 5 times. Death Tornado causes more damage because of the player sailing. Death Tornado is actually a better horizontal recovery than his Body Slam attack, because Crash's Body Slam can only go straight up. Death Tornado has a 10% chance of overpowering and going too far and causing more damage to his opponents. Death Tornado is also used by Kirby if he has copied Crash Bandicoot's power.
Body Slam
Body Slam is an Up Special Move that is used by Crash Bandicoot in an upcoming game, Super Smash Bros. When used, Crash flies with his stomacheand crushes on the ground, damaging any opponents. Also, the move doesn't stop there; when Crash hits the ground with the sword, a blue wave is sent across the ground, damaging any opponents that hit it. When coming down, Body Slam acts as a weak Meteor Smash. It can also act as a third jump. Death Tornado is actually a better horizontal recovery than his Body Slam attack, because Crash's Body Slam can only go straight up. Body Slam is also used by Kirby if he has copied Crash Bandicoot's power.
Chicken Bomb
Chicken Bomb is Crash Bandicoot's Down Special Move. He will pull out a Chicken with its fuse lit. He holds the Chicken until it is thrown. Once thrown, the Chicken will either stay at the spot it was thrown to and explode a few moments later, or it will explode on impact. the Chicken will explode even if Crash is holding it. Additionally, the two will be unable to pick up items while holding the Chicken. Crash can not throw their Chickens as far, and it does not do as much damage, but he is able to run away from the explosion quicker. Crash Bandicoot's blast radius, however, is twice as big as Link's, Young Link's, and Toon Link's blast radius, and the Chickens are harder to see. When using this chicken however, the player must be careful not to get caught in the blast. Chicken Bomb is also used by Kirby if he has copied Crash Bandicoot's power.
Although the Chickens do decent damage, their knockback is minor compared to the Bob-omb item.
Chicken Rain
Chicken Rain is Crash Bandicoot's Final Smash. Crash will make the Chicken Bombs fall down in the sky, causing a massive amount of damage when it hits a player. The chickens will make sounds just like in Crash Twinsanity in Slip Slide Icecapades. Chicken Rain does the same as PK Starstorm. However, Chicken Rain uses chickens instead of PSI Comets. When the chickens fall on the ground, the disappear like feathers flying. Chicken Rain is also used by Kirby if he has copied Crash Bandicoot's power.

- Starting with Crash Tag Team Racing, Crash Bandicoot has been voiced by Jess Harnell, who also voiced Spyro the Dragon in Spyro: A Hero's Tail and Spyro: Shadow Legacy. He also voiced Doctor Finkelstein in Kingdom Hearts II.
