Crabs can be two types of enemies in Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage and Spyro: Year of the Dragon.
Orange Crabs
There are orange crabs which attack by scuttling forward and attacking Spyro with their pincers. They can be defeated with a simple charge attack, or by flaming them.
Blue Crabs
There are also blue crabs, which are seen solely in Super Bonus World, being used as boosters for Hunter's challenge. A glitch allows you to charge them all before the match, and start with full boost power.
