Overview
Like Cloud Temples, Cloud Spires and Cloud 9, Cloudy Domain is a world in the sky. Although, Cloudy Domain takes a much more modern city-like appearance compared to the other clouds. A huge persent of the area is open space, meaning that this world is a challenge for those who aren't good at the whole platforming concept. Although, this is a good place to practice gliding skills on.
The world has many floating platforms, most of them towers. Coastal Remains cannot be seen from here as the clouds are very thick and have a yellowy hue from the sun. There aren't really any inhabitants here besides the Elder.
The place has been inflitrated completely by Gnorcs who have adjusted to the high altitude by builing themselves wings and mini hot air balloons. This may give them a better advantage in the air but it also leaves them open ti be hit by attacks.
New Features
Flying Gnorcs
The enemies in Cloudy Domain are slightly different to the normal ones. The larger Gnorcs can only be killed by their own boomerang once it deflects off of Spyro's Wing Shield. The medium sized Gnorcs do not attack and only serve as blockades to make Spyro fall down, they can be defeated by Fire or Electricity breath. The small Gnorcs still have a range attack but this can be shielded by Wing Shield. They can be killed in the same manner as the medium sized gnorcs.
Weight Pressured Platforms
These platforms are activated only when Spyro steps onto one of them. They always come in pairs. When Spyro steps on one, the circle on it will glow purple. The one that Spyro's is not standing on will rotate around the one he is on. If the rotating platform hit an obstacle it will rotate in the other direction. These platforms are exclusive to Cloudy Domain.
Wing Shield
Elder Titan, formerly of Peace Keepers, who will teach Spyro Wing Shield upon meeting him for the first time. There will then be a Wing Shield tutorial behind the building he is in. This tutorial will allow Spyro to practice this move and reward him with a Light Gem.
