Bombo was the flagkeeper at Scorch Castle. After the castle was conquered by Handel and Greta, they asked Spyro to steal the flags in order to signal their victory. After each flag was shot down, Bombo arrived and played 'The Bombing Game' with Spyro, offering him the flag if he could make his way back to the castle without being hit by a bomb.

Spyro succeeded all three times, and Bombo was defeated.
